The Lesbian Alliance Movement—Lakas ng Kababaihan para sa Karapatan (Strength of Women for their Rights)  was able to show how it continues to grow as an organization through various activities undertaken in the last quarter of 2011.  Among these is the Training on Effective Advocacy held on November 15, 2011 aimed at enhancing the members’ networking skills in order to help them deal with questions from media as well as people from other organizations and institutions.  The learnings from the Advocacy Training were particularly put to good use when LAM debuted as a newly formed lesbian people’s organization during its first Pride March in Manila on December 3, 2011.
