As part of their ongoing leadership skills development, twelve leaders of the Lesbian Alliance Movement—Lakas ng Kababaihan para sa Karapatan (Strength of Women for their Rights)  attended a Facilitation and Networking Training on August 14 and 28, 2011. The participants were given tips and suggestions on how to introduce their organization and how to effectively coordinate with groups within and outside the community.  By teaching its community partners these skills, GALANG hopes to develop its local partners as grassroots advocates for LBT human rights.
