LAM initiated a gift-giving activity for children from Kaingin 2 of Barangay Pansol. After conducting a survey in the area, the organization identified 50 children as recipients and shared their plans with the children’s parents.  LAM bought gifts for the children using money they raised from singing Christmas carols and coordinated with the Leader of Area Gitna for permission to use its chapel as a venue for the gift-giving activity.  As part of the program, LAM introduced itself as a lesbian organization.  Aside from bringing Christmas cheer to less fortunate children, the activity also made LAM known to the immediate community, while enhancing the networking and coordinating skills of its members.
