More than 2 decades have passed since Filipino lesbians from different regions of the country came together in 1996, and asserted that December 8 is National Lesbian Day. Yet, we still face the same homophobia, violence and the different forms of discrimination based on one’s SOGIE. We will continue to fight and proudly assert that lesbian rights are human rights!
