So please allow us a rare moment of self-promotion. Since 2008, we’ve served and activated 130 lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender men (LBTs). We helped organize five local LBT people’s organizations; conducted and participated in hundreds of workshops, trainings, and conferences; shared realities and experiences of LBTs from urban poor communities in the local and international arena; and, continuously visibilized economically disadvantaged LBTs through our published papers and researches. It hasn’t been easy. But we had friends along the way and we wouldn’t have lasted this long without them.
